Here’s a simple walkthrough for launching your own memecoin using Raydium’s LaunchLab.

Start by heading to the official Raydium DEX at raydium.io.

At the top of the homepage, you’ll see a navigation tab, click on LaunchLab to switch to the token creation interface.

Click on the top right, on the Connect button, and connect a compatible Web3 wallet. Something like Metamask or Phantom works perfect for this.

LaunchLab supports all major Solana wallets including Phantom, Solflare, Metamask, and WalletConnect. You can also log in using Google or Apple ID, making it even easier for newcomers.

Once connected, your wallet address appears on the interface, confirming your connection.

Click the Launch Token button on the right side, below the main info/hero banner.

After connecting, click Launch Token to start the creation process. You’ll see two modes: JustSendIt and Advanced.

Option A: The JustSendIt Mode

This mode is designed for creators who want a quick and easy launch.

Here, you only need to fill in:

Token Name: The name for your token.

Ticker Symbol: Your token's ticker (without the $ sign).

Description: Your project description.

Then select your quote token, this can be either SOL or USD1, depending on how you want your pool to be paired. Optionally, you can add social links like Telegram, Twitter (X), and your website. These help users find your community but aren’t required.

That’s it, once done, sign the transaction in your wallet. Your token will deploy instantly, and your memecoin is live on Solana.

Option B: Advanced Mode

For experienced builders, the Advanced section offers full customization over your tokenomics and liquidity design.

In addition to the fields above, you’ll configure:

Total Token Supply: The full number of tokens your project will mint.

SOL Raised: The amount of SOL required before the token graduates from bonding to the main liquidity pool. (Minimum is 30 SOL.)

Bonding: The percentage of tokens (51–80%) that will be sold during the bonding curve phase. The remaining supply automatically migrates to the AMM pool once the bonding target is reached.

Pool Migration: This happens automatically once bonding is complete, ensuring smooth liquidity migration.

Vesting: Define how many tokens will be locked and vested over time, ensuring fair token release and sustainable supply flow.

After launch, your memecoin begins its bonding curve phase, early buyers purchase from the curve, raising SOL toward your set target. Once the threshold (e.g., 30 SOL) is hit, the pool migrates automatically to Raydium’s AMM, giving your token full trading liquidity.
